MEET THE PHYSICIAN

Serina Aubrecht, NMD, CNS, LN | Naturopathic Physician, Certified Nutrition Specialist, Licensed Nutritionist

Dr. Aubrecht works at Patient Centered Medicine LLC. As Minnesota native, she grew up on Christmas Lake in Shorewood enjoying time year-round outdoors and playing sports, especially gymnastics. Dr. Aubrecht pole vaulted and dove her way through her time at the College of Saint Benedict, in Saint Joseph, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Chemistry and Spanish-Hispanic Studies. After growing up with the dream of becoming a doctor and a history of working in the healthcare field with a specialty in nutritional medicine, she graduated with her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (NMD) degree from Bastyr University California in warm and sunny San Diego and obtained the Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential thereafter.

Dr. Aubrecht is licensed as a Naturopathic Physician in the state of Arizona, licensed as a Naturopathic Doctor in the state of California, registered as a Naturopathic Doctor in the state of Minnesota, and licensed as a Nutritionist in the state of Minnesota. She focuses her practice of naturopathic medicine on nutritional and environmental medicine and on pediatrics. Spurred out of her loves for teaching and education, Dr. Aubrecht is an American Red Cross and as an American Heart Association CPR Instructor, having taught CPR and lifeguarding classes for over 10 years.

Dr. Aubrecht is incredibly passionate about patient access to quality healthcare and believes that each patient has a right to choose what type of provider they would like to use to access the medical system. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, she yearly traveled to Washington, DC, to lobby for increased access to and insurance plan inclusion of naturopathic physicians. She plans to do so again after the pandemic has ended.

As a busy mom of two young children, Dr. Aubrecht is currently seeing patients only online for telemedicine and telehealth visits through MomentMD. As a provider through MomentMD, she loves that she is helping to empower patients to choose their own provider type.
